The self-loading cable drum trailer is a robust, one-person-operated unit designed for lifting, transporting, and paying out cable drums with ease. Featuring a heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized chassis, a 4-tonne tandem axle assembly, and electric brakes on both axles, it ensures durability and stability in demanding work environments. A hydraulic drum drive provides up to 200kg of line pull, facilitating controlled payout and retrieval of cables. The hydraulic stabiliser pads and wind-down front and rear stabiliser legs enhance safety and balance on uneven terrain. The trailer is powered by a diesel engine with an electric start, ensuring reliable performance in remote locations. The spindle shaft diameter of 77mm accommodates a maximum drum diameter of 2600mm and width of 1200mm.

 

This trailer is designed for efficiency, with a 7HP Kohler petrol hydraulic power pack, 15-inch heavy-duty rims with 8-ply tires, and a spare wheel for added reliability. The ring pull hitch and safety chains provide secure towing, while 12/24V LED tail lights with a 7-pin flat trailer plug ensure compliance with road safety standards. With a maximum load capacity of 2500kg and a gross ATM of 3500kg, it is well-suited for power cable, optical fiber, irrigation hose, and other cable handling applications. The hydraulic stabiliser pads, combined with a diesel engine and electric start, make this trailer a highly efficient and user-friendly solution for cable transport and payout.
