OMAC F144.TA / F150.TA Tandem Pulley

The OMAC F144.TA / F150.TA is a tandem sheave running-out block fit for stringing one conductor. Two pulleys are mounted on a dedicated steel frame with a yoke and two arms, so the load is distributed over both sheaves. This spreads the conductor’s bend over a longer contact length, which is useful at towers with large line angles or high vertical loads.

Each sheave is aluminium on sealed ball bearings, with a nylon-lined groove, an openable galvanised steel frame and a non-fleeting device. A swivelling fork attachment is standard. The two pulleys can also be used individually as single blocks, so the set doubles as spare single-sheave capacity.

The range starts with the F150.23.TA (Ø230 mm sheaves, 20 kN, 27 kg) and F150.35.TA (Ø350 mm, 20 kN, 38 kg), runs through F144 tandem sets at Ø500, 650 and 800 mm with 68 or 95 mm grooves at 33–40 kN, and tops out with the F144.100.95.TA: Ø1000 mm sheaves, 95 mm grooves, 60 kN and 145 kg.

The TA range shares sheave sizes with the single F144 / F150 blocks, so groove profiles and conductor compatibility carry across directly.
