OMAC F145 2/3 Conductor Pulley

The OMAC F145 is a three-sheave running-out block fit for stringing two- or three-bundled conductors. The centre sheave carries the pulling rope and running board, and the two lateral sheaves carry the sub-conductors, so a twin or triple bundle can be strung in one pull.

All three sheaves are aluminium, mounted on sealed ball bearings, with grooves lined in nylon sectors to protect the conductor. Non-fleeting devices on the lateral sheaves keep the conductors seated, and the galvanised steel frame hangs from a demountable attachment that revolves by 90°, available with a narrow wheel.

Seven sizes are available, from the F145.50.68 (Ø500 mm sheaves, 68 mm grooves, 40 kN, 90 kg) to the F145.120.130 (Ø1200 mm, 130 mm grooves, 100 kN, 365 kg). The mid-range Ø650 and Ø800 mm blocks carry 60 kN, and option 325 adds a reinforced centre sheave that raises the working load to 80 kN on specified models.

Other options include aluminium-sector sheaves with a grounding device and copper earthing cable, a non-fleeting device between the central and lateral wheels, a 95 mm centre groove on the 68 mm models, and a cage for stocking and transport. Larger diameters are available on demand.
