OMAC F145.E Helicopter 2/3 Conductor Pulley

The OMAC F145.E is a three-sheave running-out block for helicopter stringing on two- or three-bundled conductor lines. Guide devices position the pulling rope in the sheave groove and keep it inside the groove during stringing, so the pilot rope can be dropped in by helicopter.

The three aluminium sheaves have nylon-lined grooves and turn on waterproof bearings, in a galvanised steel frame with a fixed attachment.

Six sizes are listed: Ø500 mm (40 kN, 115 kg), Ø650 mm with 68 or 95 mm grooves (60 kN, 154–175 kg), Ø800 mm with 68 or 95 mm grooves (60 kN, 177–205 kg), and Ø1000 mm with a 95 mm groove (66 kN, 248 kg).

Options include aluminium-sector lining with grounding device and copper earthing cable, and a non-fleeting device covering half the wheel circumference. For quad-bundle helicopter stringing, see the F149.80.95.E.
