Home Solutions Equipment Sales Pulleys OMAC F151.235 Counter-Pull Pulley

The OMAC F151.235 is a counter-pull running-out block. Instead of hanging from a crossarm like a standard stringing block, it is rigged in line, using the swivelling hooks on both ends of its galvanised steel frame, so it can apply a counter-pull on the rope or conductor in the span.
The frame has an openable side, so the rope or conductor can be dropped into the pulley without threading it through. An automatic releasing device frees the block so the unit can be recovered once the operation is complete.
Two versions are available. The F151.235.AS has a galvanised steel pulley on ball bearings, rated at a 28 kN working load and weighing 21 kg. The F151.235.BS has an aluminium pulley lined with an interchangeable nylon ring, which is gentler on conductor surfaces and can be renewed when worn; it carries 22 kN and weighs 20 kg.
Both versions use a Ø300 mm pulley. The steel version suits steel ropes and shield wires, while the nylon-lined aluminium version suits aluminium conductors. For a standard hanging block for shield wires, see the F151 on the same OMAC sheet.
Dimensions and weights are without optional devices.
