Home Solutions Equipment Sales Pulleys OMAC F151 Shield Wire Pulley

The OMAC F151 is a running-out block fit for stringing shield wires, also known as earth wires or overhead ground wires, which run along the tower peaks above the phase conductors.
The sheave is galvanised steel mounted on ball bearings, a hard-wearing choice for shield wire. The galvanised steel frame carries a non-fleeting device that keeps the wire seated in the groove as it is pulled through.
Three attachments are available: a swivel fork (B) as standard, or optional swivel hook (A) or fixed hook (C), so the block can be hung to suit the earth-wire peak. The standard F151 has a Ø300 mm sheave (Ø230 mm at the groove), a 400 mm overall height, a 28 kN working load and a weight of 13 kg. Blocks with different dimensions can be built on demand.
Use the F151 at the earth-wire peaks while F144, F145 or F149 blocks carry the phase conductors on the crossarms below. For in-line counter-pull work, see the F151.235.
Dimensions and weights are without optional devices.
