OMAC F153.F Fixed Running Board

The OMAC F153.F is a fixed type running board for 2-bundle or 3-bundle conductors, fit for connecting the pulling rope to the conductors. Also called a headboard, it sits at the front of the conductor bundle during the pull and rides over the multi-sheave stringing blocks, keeping each sub-conductor in its own sheave.

The fixed design is supplied with swivel joints and steel ropes. The swivel joints stop rotation in the pulling rope being passed into the conductors. Unlike the balancing F153, it has no counterweighted sheave, which keeps it lighter and simpler to rig.

Six versions are available: F153.2.1.F, F153.2.2.F and F153.2.3.F for twin bundles, and F153.3.1.F, F153.3.2.F and F153.3.3.F for triple bundles, in three sizes. All carry a 93 kN working load, and weights run from 90 kg (F153.2.1.F) to 135 kg (F153.3.3.F).

Use with OMAC F145, F145.S or F145.1 three-sheave blocks. Where conductor twisting is a concern over long or angled sections, the balancing F153 adds counterweights and anti-twisting ropes.
