OMAC F189 6 Conductor Pulley

The OMAC F189 is a seven-sheave running-out block fit for stringing four or six conductors. With a centre sheave for the pulling rope and three sheaves either side, the same block can be rigged for quad-bundle or six-bundle conductor, which reduces the number of block types a crew has to carry between projects.

The aluminium sheaves run on sealed ball bearings and their grooves are lined with nylon sectors. The steel frame carries non-fleeting devices on the lateral sheaves and is hung from a demountable attachment that revolves by 90°.

Four sizes are available, all rated at a 60 kN working load: Ø650 mm sheaves with 68 or 95 mm grooves (195 and 235 kg) and Ø800 mm sheaves with 68 or 95 mm grooves (240 and 295 kg).

The F189 is the matching block for OMAC F154.6 running boards for 6-bundle conductors. Options are aluminium-sector sheaves with a grounding device and copper earthing cable, and a central sheave with steel sectors.
