OMAC F198.1 Anti-Twisting Counterweight
Description
The OMAC F198.1 is an anti-twisting counterweight fit for stringing overhead fibre optic cables (OPGW). It does the same job as the F198, holding the cable against rotation as it passes the running-out blocks, but is designed to be used with a pulling stocking grip, which is sold separately.
The counterweight is 3933 mm long and carries a working load of 10 kN.
Two sizes are listed: the F198.1.65 (R 330 mm, 49.8 kg) for running-out blocks of Ø350, 500 and 650 mm, and the F198.1.100 (R 500 mm, 55 kg) for blocks of Ø800 and 1000 mm.
Specify the OPGW diameter when ordering, and pair the F198.1 with an OMAC stocking grip sized to the cable.
