OMAC F308.S Roller Pulley
Description
The OMAC F308.S is a roller pulley designed for stringing a single conductor. Instead of one large sheave, the conductor runs over a set of nylon rollers arranged along a curve, which supports it over a long radius while keeping the unit compact.
The nylon rollers turn on sealed ball bearings in a galvanised steel frame with an openable side, so the conductor can be loaded into the pulley from the side rather than threaded through.
Two models are listed, the F308.S.20.68 with a 68 mm groove and the F308.S.20.95 with a 95 mm groove. Both carry a 40 kN working load and weigh 42 kg.
For work near energised lines, option 326.1 adds a contact-roller grounding device with an aluminium contact wheel and contrast spring, used with the 6 m copper earthing cable of option 329.
