OMAC P30.B Hydraulic Puller

Description
The OMAC P30.B is a hydraulic puller that pulls one rope in stringing operations on overhead transmission lines and optical fibre cables. It delivers a maximum pull of 30 kN at 0.9 km/h. At 20 kN it runs at 1.3 km/h, and its top speed is 3 km/h.The machine has thermally treated steel bull-wheels, 2 x Ø300 mm with 6 grooves. It accepts ropes up to 13 mm in diameter. An automatic reel-winder suits steel reels from 1100 to 1400 mm.Power comes from a liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 25 hp (18.6 kW), with a 12 V electric plant.The P30.B has one hydraulic circuit with a negative brake system. A dynamometer with a load-limiter device gives a direct reading of the pulling value.The machine sits on a rigid axle with tyres for towing at up to 30 km/h. It has a balanced top lifting point and anchoring attachments. Its dimensions are 2.30 x 1.45 x 1.55 m, and it weighs 950 kg.
