OMAC PT190.44.SK Hydraulic Puller-Tensioner
The OMAC PT190.44.SK is a skid-mounted machine with four hydraulic circuits that works as both a tensioner and a puller, stringing 1, 2, 3 or 4 ropes or conductors. Description
The OMAC PT190.44.SK is a skid-mounted machine with four hydraulic circuits, designed to operate both as a tensioner and as a puller, stringing 1, 2, 3 or 4 ropes or conductors. As a puller it delivers a maximum pull of 1 x 190 kN or 4 x 47 kN at 2.1 km/h, with a top speed of 5 km/h. As a tensioner it delivers a maximum tension of 1 x 190 kN or 4 x 47 kN, with a top speed of 5 km/h.The machine has four pairs of bull-wheels, 8 x Ø1500 mm with 20 grooves, with high-resistance steel grooves that are thermally and chemically treated and fit for steel wire ropes or conductors. It accepts conductors up to 4 x 45 mm and ropes up to 30 mm in diameter. A version with Ø1800 mm bull-wheels is also available.Power comes from a water-cooled diesel engine rated at 278 hp (205 kW), with a 24 V electric plant. An oil cooling system is fitted, and four auxiliary hydraulic circuits run additional equipment (4 reel-winders or 4 reel-stands).The operator works from a control panel with four built-in DEG 10 electronic instruments, each with a 10″ graphic colour display and a USB port. The PT190.44.SK uses a maintenance-free load cell reading system and has an electronic instrument by-pass. In puller mode, a pull-force setting device holds the pre-set force even at zero speed. It also has a self-recovery device for sagging operations, four negative hydraulic safety brakes, manual and automatic clamps for 4 ropes or conductors, and back and front conductor-drivers with nylon rollers for 4 conductors, so reel-stands can be positioned in front of or behind the machine.The machine is skid mounted, with a hydraulic front plough, attachments for anchoring and lifting, and a grounding connection point. It measures 6.20 m long, 2.35 m wide and 2.60 m high, and weighs 13000 kg without rope. A road-trailer with a 20 t load capacity is available as an option.
