OMAC W10.T Hydraulic Winch
Description
The OMAC W10.T is a front drum hydraulic winch with a 10 kN maximum pull, designed for stringing LV and MV overhead lines, hoisting and tower erection, underground cabling and sagging. It shares its performance with the W10.L but carries a much larger drum and a trailer kit, making it the better fit where longer rope runs and frequent repositioning are part of the job.
Its Ø270/480 x 520 mm front drum holds 580 m of Ø10 mm rope, more than double the standard W10.L, so longer pulls can be completed without re-rigging. A large-groove capstan with a rope holder clamp, bottom groove Ø230 mm, is also fitted for capstan work.
The winch pulls 10 kN at 13 m/min and reaches a maximum speed of 35 m/min. A dynamometer reads the pulling value directly, and the load-limiter device caps the maximum force so rope and structures are protected through the pull. A single hydraulic circuit with negative brake system holds the load if pressure drops.
Power is an 8.5 hp (6.3 kW) air-cooled petrol engine with pull start. The standard trailer kit with rigid axle allows manual towing on site, and a balanced top lifting point and anchoring attachments are included. Weight without rope is 350 kg.
